Chocolate Workshop
Our Chocolate Workshops are a great way to learn the history of Cocoa and the secrets of Chocolatiering. It’s an immersive experience in the art of chocolate making, giving you the skills to recreate your own indulgent treats at home.
Includes:
Talk on the origin and history of cocoa, how chocolate is made, tasting from across the Cocoa Belt, create your own chocolate bar, truffle making, refreshment break (hot chocolate) then gift wrap your chocolates to take home.
Location: Silver Street store
Duration: 1.5 – 2 hrs
Group Size: 2 – 8 people (For private sessions a minimum of 8 is needed but we can go up to 16 if required)
Suitable age: 10+
Price: £25.00 per person
Times: Fridays 2pm | Saturdays 10am, 12:30pm, 3:30pm

Easter Workshop
Our Easter Workshop is a practical session, it consists of decorating two Easter egg halves, piping and adding decor then filling with your choice of sweets. You’ll use a hot plate to put the egg halves together. While everything is setting you’ll head downstairs for a refreshment break and then back upstairs for finishing touches, to gift package and take home. The session takes 1-1.5 hours, costs £25 and is suitable for ages 8+
the dates are as follows
Fridays in April (4th, 11th & 18th) 11am and 2pm
Saturdays in April (5th, 12th and 19th) 10am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm
Sunday 13th 11am and 2pm
Wednesday 16th April 11am and 2pm
Thursday 17th April 11am and 2pm

Do I need to book?
Yes, call us on 01162623278 or email us on workshop@cocoa-amore.co.uk to check availability.
Our availability can change very quickly so if you’d like to discuss multiple dates, a call to the store is the easiest way to secure your time/date.
We generally book up around 2-3 weeks in advance, however at peak period (Christmas/Easter) we can get very busy.
Occasionally there is a cancellation and we’ll usually advertise these on our social media
Do I need a Workshop Golden Ticket?
No you don’t. If you’re gifting the Workshop experience then a ticket makes a great gift.
If you’re booking the experience for yourself then you can choose whether to order tickets or pay on the day,
we’ll need to know which your preference is when you book.
Workshop Golden Tickets don’t have an expiry date and can be redeemed against our All Year Round, Easter or Christmas Workshops.
Are there vegan options available?
Yes! Please let us know of your dietary requirements when you book and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

How long will the treats in my goodie bag last?
Our ganache is freshly made so your truffles will last up to one week.
Your bar will last up to a year depending on your choice of toppings
If gifting your goodies, please be aware of allergens.
While the weather is warmer you may want to bring a cool bag to transport your chocolate home
Is there disabled access?
Our Workshop take place on the first floor, and we do not have a lift.
